In Kindergarten, students learn from Mrs. Remo, a teacher who has devoted her career to early childhood education. Students transition from PreKindergartens focused on center rotation, to knowing how to share at a desk, or table in their cases. Sitting, learning, sharing, praying, and growing- Kindergarten at Ascension has so much to look forward to!

Grade 1 and Mrs. Morrison spend each and every day learning what it means to grow in knowledge and faith. Gone are the toys they have been used to- shifting more to manipulatives in Math, and projects as they learn to show what they know. Reading takes a leap forward with these amazing learners!

Mrs. Vera is our dedicated 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, who along with Teacher Assistant Ms. Marion spend every day truly learning through inquiry based learning in small groups. Groupwork becomes commonplace as each student's needs are met throughout the day. Ms. Romero prepares our 2nd graders for Reconciliation and First Communion, and reminds the 3rd Graders of all they learned last year, as they continue to grow in faith and learning.

Grades 4 and 5 at Ascension are growing daily, learning more every day as they develop further skills in Mathematics, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. Mr. Breton brings his amazing energy to  to both grades, as lead teacher to Grades 4 and 5. In these grades, students are fully immersed in the seriousness of learning, but still balance learning in a fun atmosphere! Whether through Eureka Math, Amplify Science, or Discovery Ed, students in 4th and 5th, through small group instruction, are set to learn and grow so much this year!
