Ascension School

Ascension School strives to provide its teachers and students with the tools necessary to extend the core curriculum.  Our goal is to create a technology program suitable for 21st century students.  At Ascension, opportunities are provided for technology to be successfully integrated into the curriculum.

Technology is offered in different ways.  There are computers in each of the classrooms for teacher and student use.  We have a computer lab that is available to teachers and classes on a regular basis, laptops for in class use, and a library that we continue to enhance technologically.   

Smartboards (or interactive whiteboards) have become an important part of our instructional goals.  Smart boards are available in certain classrooms and in the computer lab.  The school continues to work on ways to raises funds for additional smart boards, with the goal being to place a smart board in every classroom.

Ascension School believes technology is a crucial component in a child's learning.  We continue to take the necessary steps to give our students the technological advantage they need.
