Overview of the Ascension School Fundraising Association

The Ascension School Fundraising Association (ASFA) was designed with the dual function of fundraising for the school and to bring families together to actively participate and support our children and teachers. The success of each event depends upon parent participation. This includes, but is not limited to, volunteering, selling tickets, donating goods, soliciting donations, decorating, baking and attending ASFA events. The ASFA focuses on the following key areas:

  • Organizing Four Major Fundraising Events: 1. Halloween Bash (October) 2. Christmas Extravaganza (December) 3. Spring Gala (April) 4. Ascension Carnival Thursday (May)
  • Sponsoring Recurring and Ongoing Fundraising Programs: BoxTop$ for Education Drive; December and May Raffles; and Computer Drives.
  • Assisting with School Events: Soliciting parents to volunteer for: Book Fair Monitors; Christmas & Spring Concert Concession Volunteers; Outside Recess Monitors; Field Day Volunteers; Annual Uniform Collection & Sale; School Beautification and Green Program Volunteers.
